Megan Racing Coilovers
Does anyone have these on a MKIII? I tried search and returned nothing.
My girlfriend bought a set for her '93 Nissan 240sx and we loved them. Easy to install, great lowering and dampening capabilities, plus they were great quality and the cost wasn't too much. Megan Racing Toyota MK3 Supra Coilovers |

If HPF is selling those..., and they are.
You're in good hands. Call the # dial ext. 103 and speak to Dave. Tell him Mike sent you and hold his arse up. He works great deals once he figures out you're a player. And on a big ticket item as coilovers. Even with them on sale I'd hit him up for a discount. He's one of HPF's Sales managers. He'll hook you up. |

Sounds awesome, I would love to get this set. I really enjoyed the ones for the 240, greatest suspension I've ever worked with and it took me only 20 minutes to install with a jack and a ratchet set I can only hope it is just as good for the supra, and knowing M.R. products, they will be! Thank you for the information!

I have actually spoken to Dave today.
I have a part on order myself. I'm getting the clear lexan timing cover. I told him I sent you his way. You can reach him at: david@horsepowerfreaks.com Tell him to send you some cards to be handed out to your gear head buddies. He Loves that noise. |

I have them and i dont like them much at all. It only handles decent if you set the fronts to full stiff and the rears to full soft... otherwise its just stupid oversteer. So much for a huge range of adjustability.

Coilovers
Actually, I never ended up getting them. When I installed them on the 240, it took me 30 minutes. Then we had to get the alignment and adjusted the height at that point. Just like any other coilovers.
I don't know how they would handle autoX, but road racing, I don't see why not. Everyone I have spoken to says they are pretty great for a little spirited driving, but I doubt they'll handle the hard corners of autoX with such a heavy car. Then again, I could be wrong. As for why I didn't end up going that way... well, I am putting in my 2jzge-t swap this weekend! Masterpower T70 w/ .68 ar; XSpower intake, tubular manifold, and DP; 30-40K miles on the 96' 2jzge; 2jzgte MHG (drops the compression to 9.1:1-ish); Greddy full 3" exhaust w/ high flow cat; 2.5" charge piping and generic FMIC; still debating on the BOV (enjoyed my greddy rs when I had it, but also liked the HKS SSQV once I switched); running it all off the stock 7mgte ecu, just have to switch the electronics over; 1jz flywheel; Southbend Stage 4 full face clutch; and some more, but I've got to head out. Here's the link to my build thread - Project Eat My 2jz! (56K? Don't Bother.) - SupraMania
