Wastegate Idle issue... please help

well, what i was referring to as the wastegate, is really the.. blow off valve?... in new to turbocharged engines, and thus, retarded. Im posting pics of the... thing im talking about. pretty sure its the BOV   this is a continuation of my other thread... http://www.toyota-supra.info/forums/...dy-issues.html anyway, my idle has been high since i bought the supra, around 900-1000. ive replaced things and looked for leaks, and finally found the culprit. maybe. now I need to know whats wrong lol... When i disconnect the small vacuum hose from my BOV and plug it, my idle goes down to normal. however, when i plug it back into the BOV, my idle shoots up to almost 1000 again.
