You guys may think me ignorant. But it works.
I went to lowes. I bought a 4 inch long bolt with a head that fit my needs. I bought a 2 inch long 2 way adapter type nut. I used red loctite on it. It's what I use when I hit that portion of the engine. It cost me less that $4. Last edited by supramacist; 05-12-2008 at 05:40 AM. |

I use a similar type solution. If you have lots of metric hardware around find a long bolt, two matching nuts, turn the nuts onto the end of the bolt, and lock them together. If you find its still slipping you can destry the threads of your toyota SST with a flat head screw driver. Might save a trip to the store....

Looks like it was go or blow time.
Nice job. It looks much worse than it is serge. Once you start cleaning it up. You'll see. |

You are right. It's not so bad. Next question....
What set better to buy for the repair and where? I guess I need a new bolts as well. Where would I find all this stuff with better quality? Thank you! |

Performance Parts Aftermarket and Racing
Dial ext. 103 and speak to Dave. tell him mike sent you. He'll take care of you. Make sure he knows what engine you're dealing with. Because he auto-assumes it's a turbo. He get's parts to me from where ever, faster than some of my local parts houses. |
