head bolts tool

Hi All,

I'm currently on a middle of a new gasket for my 88 Supra 7M GE.
The repair manul says we have you use SST 09043-38100 for these bolts....where would I find this tool? None of my existing tools works for this procedure...

I see that my air intake connector is pretty dirty. Is that a good idea to clean it with carb/choke cleaner?

What bolts are you talking about? I don't know of any that require a special tool.

If you mean the pipes that connect the throttle body to the MAF sensor then yes, you can clean them with carb cleaner, but DO NOT try to clean the MAF sensor with carb cleaner!! Good luck!

10mm allen key wrench socket (the longer the better) Make sure you locate the 10mm Allen wrench right to the bottom of head bolt (clean out any muck in the bolt head first) and keep it as vertical as possible, you will need to turn the cams to gain access to four of the bolt heads depending how long your wrench is. Before you do anything make sure the block is drained of coolant.

I bought a 6" long one from Matco Tools. Snap-On and Mac have them too.
