Sounds like a boost leak... Just to make sure I'm reading right, your gauge only shows around 2-3psi while boosting?

ya thats all it shows. should my boost max out my stock boost gauge?? and where is the most common leak? i checked all the pipes i could see. i think the only one i couldnt see was the one comining out of the turbo and going down to the intercooler

I know there are a few hoses that you can't see, you're going to have to get up under there. I know my stock hoses are getting close to cracking, and I'm just going to replace them with Hard piping instead. You're boost stock should be around 6.8psi, maybe a little higher on a JDM motor. I don't know since mine isn't hooked up yet, but all I need is a gauge and lines.
Also check the points of connection, maybe something isn't sealing right. Good luck |
