timing yet again
ive timed the car on ht 1 yet it still has doesnt seem timed, i was told to time on number 6 but gave up on this idea as i cant do it.
the revs arent smooth and after driving for more than 20 secs it gets worse? any ideas folks |
Make sure the timing belt is on correctly. Then the cam sensor.
|
does the tensioner adjust itself or do you need a certain tool to get it to work and how should the belt be placed on the cam gears?
|
the 7m gte engine is timed by using the #6 wire
the 7m ge engine is timed by using the #1 wire why can't you get to the #6 wire? i just timed mine and it was simple even though i've still got the 3000 pipe and all that straddleing the engine. |

All of this is in the tsrm. If you don't have a copy let someone know and we"ll send you a link. We hand that stuff out like candy around here. |

I was reading through the TSRM in the timing instructions and it does not mention a specific wire to use. Where did you find this information? |
