Engine Stand Bolts

Where do I find the bolt type/threads to put a 7MGTE on a universal engine stand? The dude @ O'Riely auto parts looked at me with the dear in the headlights look and was a tool I don't need.

I don't think you should look for them at a auto parts store, but instead try at your local hardware store.
Also you might find useful this http://www.toyota-supra.info/forums/...tener-kit.html

10 x 1.25, I think that’s the same size as the head bolts and alternator bolt.

Can't expect the dude at the automotive shop to know the diameter and pitch of all domestic and import vechials can you?

If I were you I would take the bellhousing bolts where ever you end up deciding to go and make sure that the pitch and diameter match. (Easy way of checking the pitch is to hold the two bolt threads together and make sure they match perfectly. Failsafe is to find a nut that threads onto both).

The only problem with that is the old bolts are now holding a JDM in the car so I have nothing to compare it to. Just thougt with all the BHG problems we have someone might have already known this info.
