Yellow wire?????

I was setting my timing today and I noticed that of the three wires leading into this connection the yellow is broken.
Does anyone know what it its function is?
I just know it's broken.
Any help is appreciated.

I'll check it out tomorrow and find my answer, I was just hoping someone here knew to save my lazy ass the effort of searching... Hey, I'm honest.
Most here seem really knowledgable and I feel my trust is well placed here... I'm also a suckup... lol
If you provide a pic, I'll see if I can find your problem as well, friend.

Do you have a wiring diagram or something, of what each wire does?

I could use that... :)

Its good that you place trust in people here...i try to help people out where i can. its good to know you can go someplace and get good information on a regular basis!

Yeah, I've got books and stuff, including an owners repair manual, but I'll plant myself here and exhaust efforts also.
If all else fails, I'll trace the holy hell outta the wire, but I'll find out... I'm positive.

Like ddmce said, the connect that plugs into that plug goes straight to the oxygen sensor. Wasn’t yours plugged in ?

Yes, I unplugged the connection, in order to make it easier for me to move the CPS and noticed the broken yellow wire on the back... the other two wires running into it were fine.
