Auto Transmission Swap
I have a 1989 Supra Turbo with all the basic body and engine work done. I am getting ready to up the turbocharger and dont think my auto transmission can hold to much more horse power. I heard a rumor of a auto trany that I could get that would hold up to 900 horses I think its a GM transmission does any one know what I am talking about.

On one of the other forums there was a group buy for a GM tranny adapter, which would allow you to run a Turbo 350/ Turbo 400 or any other GM tranny with that bolt pattern. A built 350 will be able to hold un-godly amounts of power, you just have to worry about the tranny cross member and the adapter. I think the adapter was going for like $350 but I don't know if they are still selling them. Good luck!
