Help me please
I am very inexperienced with fixing cars, but recently I have run into a problem with my Supra and I was told that I might have a cracked head and/or cracked block. I was wondering if anyone could walk me through a step-by-step process of removal of the head or if someone could tell me of a site that addresses this issue. Thank you.

I recomend checking out http://www.toyota-supra.info/forums/...-symptoms.html as this is more common than a cracked head/block If you don't have those symptoms and preferibly do a compression test then I would recommend using: MK3 TSRM On-Line to find out where everything is you need to remove then look at http://www.toyota-supra.info/forums/...s-rebuild.html for an idea on what needs to be done when removing the head |
Thanks! I dunno if anyone would recognise these symptoms but there was a lot of exhaust, thick exhaust, it would surround my car. The other day i was filling my radiator but the water was flowing out the exhaust. Any ideas?

Blown Head Gasket probabbly. The smoke is because oil is getting into your cylinders, and the coolant is probbably doing the same thing. You have two options: Do it yourself: about 500-700 cost depending on what else is wrong. Have a garage do it: 1200-2000 depending on your area. |
What would explain the water coming out of the exhaust?

You need a new engine to rebuild.
Don't waste your efforts or money on fixing that hunk of scrap metal. It's ruined. It will never be right no matter how much money you throw at it. Sell the shell and buy a Nissan. |
ya right i would never buy a nissan

I love all the newer Nissan cars; they have a great lineup for '07 and '08. I get to drive them every day :)
