Need help, probably simple
My gauges used to work but now they don't work at all, none of the needles move from the bottom even when I turn my key to ACC, but I still have power to the dash warning lights if that has anything to do with it. I took my trim panels out and dash so that I can paint the pieces red and black to match my car color. I went to put them back in making sure all connections were tight and had nothing. I am wondering if there are a ground(s) underneath the dash that I may have missed re-installing. I checked under there for loose wires or connections not hooked up but found nothing. I found one ground underneath the center console but that did not fix anything. If anyone knows of any grounds or ways of testing the system or schematics that would help a lot.

Check for blown fuses, maybe you accidentally shorted something at some point in time.

Yea I had my friend poke his head under there and look and he said they were good but I have no idea if he is correct, so I think I will check again and bust out a volt meter. Any other ideas?
