Very nice very nice..... I see it is a weekend job. once you've found all you need and rented all the necesary things. not bad.
I still have to get the keys for it and the title. Next is finding out why it won't start (prolly some electric problem) and after that figure out why it overheats. and then if everything goes well we will do the tranny transfussion. but these links have really gotten my hopes up |

kinda late to reply, but a used getrag from a MkIV is around $3k and a new one from the dealer is double that. They are non-servicable (no rebuilds), but are damn near bomb proof as long as you don't miss a shift.
It seems like the R154's are beefed up versions of the R150 trannys used in the later model trucks. I'd have to do more research, but if you can't track down a toyota tranny, I know you can get adapters to fit other trannys... |
