Pacesetter
Has anyone tried the Pacesetter Monza cat-back exhaust on their Supra Turbo? Opinions?
Thanks. |
I think some people have tried it and were satisfied, but it's just not a full 3" inner dia exhaust system. For me that wouldn't be enough of a reason not to try it. I think I have seen some vids of Supras' with that exhaust somewhere, but I have forgotten what they sounded like, but they are out there. Good luck.

i have one on my 87 n/a. it fits amazingly well looks stock sounds stock at idle but has a nice deep pitch in mid revs and then sounds like a v8 in high revs. idk how much it would differ for a turbo but my only complaint with the system is that i have a defective muffler and the baffles pop while im driving and even after

Pacesetter
Thanks for the input. I was considering a $500.00 HKS version but the Pacesetter is about $170.00 on Amazon so...I think I'll try the Pacesetter.

my only input is that you get what you pay for....although i do have a pacesetter header:confused:

Supra 91 - What a beautiful car you have! Post a larger picture so I can get a closer lokk.

how is the header? i was thinking about getting it but if it sucks i'll make one custom
|
the header isn't too bad actually. it might require some grinding around the header to clear some of the mounting brackets attached to the engine. you do however, need to relocate the O2 sensor location closer to the engine (i welded mine where the header and y-pipe connect. what happens is the O2 sensor is too far away from the engine and gives it a bad reading and you get really bad gas mileage (i got 11 mpg max)
here you go http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e3...o/IMG_0754.jpg http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e3...o/IMG_0749.jpg |
Hey, i have obx headers and the o2 sensor is also located very far from the engine and i get very bad gas mileage. How many more mpgs did you get after you relocated the o2 sensor?

16 city and around 18 highway. when i keep my foot out of it and coast a lot more i got 24 highway
