Aftermarket turbo
How would i go about using this turbo with the oil lines and hooking it up to the downpipe. eBay Motors: T4 T04B TURBO TURBOCHARGER MKIII 7MGTE SUPRA 7M-GTE (item 370071154569 end time Jul-26-08 20:20:12 PDT)

You will need to get "headers" with a T4 flange, I have no idea on the down pipe, you may have to look into a exhaust shop to help you out on that one. As for the oil, there are some stores online that carry stainless braided lines for after market turbos. You will also have to cap off the water cooling lines to the stock turbo. Then you will need to look into a wastegate actuator, that will require some custom fabing of exhaust as well.
Just remember, at $180.00 for a turbo, you get what you pay for. I'm not telling you not to buy it, but you never know with that kind of stuff, sometimes it may outlast you car, others times it may fail before you get it out of the box. Good luck! |
