Turbo or not turbo

Long story short, just bought a 1987 Supra with the Turbo motor. The motor is junk but the rest of the car is in excellent condition. (Got the car really cheap.) I have a low mileage NON-turbo motor. Can I swap the turbo gear from my exisiting motor over to the non-turbo motor? (Sorry, haven't learned all the lingo yet.) Or is the internals of the non-turbo motor different? If this isn't possible, (this might be a sin) is there any problem in putting in the non-turbo motor as is? (I realize the exhaust will be different, I'm worried about computer controls.) Thanks!
