I'm not positive on this, but I believe the distributor on the 7MGE is not computer controlled. Maybe someone who knows for sure can comment on this....
Haha, it says I posted at 10:20AM and it's 5:26PM

6cyl dist question
Can anyone tell me if Toyota used a non-computer controlled electronic ignition on the DOHC sixes? I'm familiar with the ones used on the 3Y 4cyls that will work with just a hot wire, but I haven't seen anything like that for a 6cyl.
If so, what was the application and does anyone have any for sale or give? I need 2 identical units for a BMW V12 conversion. |
