Default w58 or r154

one, dose the r154 fit the mkIII engine and would i beable to push a lote of horses through it? or dose anyone know any really really nice gearboxes that i can get that woill not cost more than life its self? im trying to make this beautiful girl tear apart the damn camaros corvettes, and mustangs. reall elegant girls start with a S, and go by the name of Supra. and any other tips for making her over 400 hp and maby like 5-600 with keeping the MKIII

The W58 is only good for up around 400ish HP. An R154 is a direct bolt-up for the 7M's (standard manual transmission on 7MGTE MKIII Supra's), and the internals can hold up to TONS more power than the W58 (I don't know exactly how much power though). Just make sure that if you get a R154 you get it with a 7M bell housing, as the tranny was paired with a few different engines.

to make 400 horses, first thing is to rebuild the motor with a metal headgasket and be sure to machine the mating surfaces as smooth as possible. get a full 3 inch exhaust, lexus v8 afm and 550 cc injectors with a piggy back or standalone engine management for tuning, and turn up the boost. this is basic stuff for higher hp 7mgte's. the r154 can handle about 800hp and is only fitted on either a 1jzgte from japan or a 7mgte

thank you vary much any place i can get that stuff and not get ripped off. i have 7mgte so i have to start from skratch
