Default Home made Intercooler piping?

Hello everyone,
I am still working on my supra project, and i was wondering if anyone had ever made their own intercooler piping out of pvc/abs pipe? I have been laid off from my job therefore dont have a lot of disposable cash at the moment? let me know if any of you guys have done this and post some pics if you can. Or is there something better and not quite as "hillbilly" as pvc? lol

Hey I know a couple guys who have used mild steel exhaust tubing. It's real cheap and you can have a local exhaust shop bend it to your needs. It WORKS but not nearly as good as the real thing. It might be worth it to wait for the right stuff.
