AT Filter(Srtainer)
Hi Everyone,
Do we really have to change the Strainer? Service Manual nothing says about that. The mettal screen looks perfect on my 110,000 mile AT and I just would like to know if really have to change it... Thanks, Serge |

If you went to all the trouble of removing the tyranny pan I would defiantly replace the strainer. They look like a sealed unit, how did you check if it was clean. I’ve never changed one, but was thinking about it.

The screen of the strainer looks clean...that's why I've been thinking that it's okay. I will probably replace it. The reason I took the pan of was my solenoid#1...contact issure(code 62) Thanks for your help! Serge Last edited by Serge; 09-08-2008 at 01:55 AM. |
