Non-turbo/turbo compatibility issue
I have a new head that was originally intended for my engine before the whole thing blew up. It now sits in my basement and has for several months now. A few days ago I was talking with a man who had just bought a turbo and he asked me if I had experienced any head gasket issues.
Long story short, I told him to expect head gasket problems, and that I have a head he can be if he wants to. Now, my question is, can a head that was made for a non-turbo fit and run reliably on a turbo engine? |

Yes, the NA head is the same except one of the cams are diffrent, the NA cams are actually a slight top end upgrade for turbo cars, but they will loose a little bottom end from them.
Hope this helps, good luck. |
