Newb from VA
Hi guys! just thought i would finally join the forum instead of searching through it!!
I have a 88 supra w/ 130xxx miles that did have a BHG as well as the "oil on top of spark plugs" problem. im just a regular mechanic so doing things of this nature aren't really a problem, i just dont know all the gritty details! Either way, i just REALLY wanted to say "Thank you" to IHateHacks for all his contributions to MY project as far as Tech info goes. I replaced my BHG and torqued it down to 82ft lbs, drove it for 854 miles, yanked off the intake/valve covers, checked the torque again, and its been 4,000 miles and not a single problem with the head gasket OR the pesky oil on the spark plugs problem! anyway, thanks for all the help you guys had no idea you were providing to a complete stranger!!! |
