hey my 89 non turbo likes to kill the battery after sitting for a few days, and today when i went to start it, it was dead as usual, so i hooked a jumper to it, and the alarm started to go off? never done that before, and so i had to put the key in, to the on position, and then the alarm stopped. but now it wot turn over, with the charger on charge/start, it wont even click to turn over, its only been on for like an hour, but did the alarm do something? becuae the clock lights will dim when i try to start it, but thats about it. and my alarm is wierd, its some kind of chip thing you pull out of the steering column, is that how they all are?
it was the alarm.
