Front Strut Bar - Quick Question
Okay... my brain just got back from a brief vacation... so I have a question.
I bought a Front strut bar from "tuningpros" on Ebay. Only cost me $10.00. Now.. I recieved it and it looks cool, but I started thinking... wtf? 10 bucks?!?! lol here is a pic of a similar one... The bar and tie bolts on mine are about double the size of this pic, but I cant help wonder... what good is it gonna do for 10 bucks? Should I just keep this as a wall souvenir or actually install it? (I have 100% stock suspension currently) Going to do that bar that runs on the ground in front of the rear seat to help stop some of the "oh my god, the targa's off" wobble... (can't remember the name of it..) and thought that a front strut tie and rear strut tie would help. After thinking about it (from an engineering stand point) I can see the middle and rear one helping (the middle one being the most beneficial), but the front one... I dont see it doing much. Just wondered and thought I would ask prior to installing to save me from having to uninstall it after I found out I bought some wicked looking chin-up bar!

Front and rear bars won't make a noticable difference in the wobble.

well considering that's the only reason I would put it on (other than maybe it looks cool) I think I have a chin-up bar.

They don't really serve a purpose, and like what was said you wont see a noticeable difference. My opinion is that one you pictured looks so dinky... Can't imagine that it would do much of anything, but serve as a nice wall decoration.

Yeah, thats more like where I would love to be, but probably wont go that far, unless Im still modding the car in about 2 years.. then....
Thats an excellent looking setup too. what seats are those? Im guessing by looking at the rwhp in your siggy, that's not a daily driver. I've seen the seats in pictures, but never actually sat in one? Comfort?
