N.A. M.A.F. on a turbo car
Hi I'm pretty new around here. Great form, lots of keen minds around here
as well as lots of great cars. My challenge is a recently acquired 1988 turbo targa. Will post pics. when I figure out how to use less kb. Anyways this car is not complete, missing mass air flow sensor. I and in progress rewiring stuff that was hacked out. Pressure tested cooling system+ compression test complete, looks promising so far. By mid day tomorrow I will be ready to light it up except for the missing maf. I do have one from a na car 1986.5. Have not even checked to see if the plug will fit, but if it dose will it work. I only need to have it run briefly. Just to hear if there is any rod knock. Whats your take? Do it or not? If not advise why. Thx.MUZY |
