Wow great reply bill uk.. i'm going to bookmark that site for future use.. And on the topic of the hose I ended up just going with a generic heater hose from kragen cause I live nowhere near a toyota dealership... and it seems to suffice... stopped the leak for sure.

Also on the same subject of me not knowing what/where things are... can someone tell me if I have these hoses in the right spots? Shortly after me messing around in that area my cruise control and my heater stopped working... and this area of hoses is all I can think may have. caused it all. Also what is the item I circled in white? thanks in advance...

thanks i've switched the two you suggested. Also I finished doing a compression check... and got some bad results
![]() O O O O O O>> 2nd run was after adding a lil oil to each cylinder like suggested in the tsrm... 1st, 2nd run O O cylinder 6 165, 190 O O 90, 150 O O 126, 157 O O 120, 180 O O 150, 168 O O cylinder 1 156, 170 so perhaps I waited a lil to long after my car was warmed up to get accurate readings on the first run... but also noticed the amount of oil you put into cylinder changed the compression reading drastically as well.... so all in all i've come to the conclusion I don't know what i'm doing lol. but I do feel there is something wrong in this area, possible bhg/worn rings etc near cylinder 5. any comments are welcome.
