Engine stalls
My engine starts to stall when I turn the steering wheel. I thought it might be a belt problem so I changed the belt but it still stalls. Is there anyone who knows or has had this problem? I was going to ask also if it is a bad pump can you just drive the car with one belt that just runs the alternator or will it mess up the steering components with out power steering? If I can drive with out power steering how hard is it to turn and is it legal?

I had the same problem. Actually still have. Check your power steering lines. Mine were leaking and causing the same problem. It's possible the pump is bad but more likely that the lines are bad. You can drive without power steering just fine but it will be harder to steer.
