Just take it out and replace it with an aftermarket one. You can get the harness adapter and install kit at Wal-Mart for about $20.00 total. I spent way too much time trying to figure out what was wrong with mine and in the end it was much easier to just buy an aftermarket radio and put it in. If you were local, I could help you out.

I'll double check, but I think I threw it away.

It should work as long as it's the same size.....i.e. single din versus double din. I put my stock radio from my 2003 Toyota Tacoma in my 89 Supra and did have to do anything special....just plug and play.

The radio is the exact size but I keep hearing the plugs have been changed in the newer years. My replacement is fronm an 2004 Matrix , Some guys say adapter cable is made others say still will not work. |
