What was the average price for a brand new 1989 7MGE MKIII Supra back when it rolled out of the factory gates and, what would that be in todays money?

I don't know about 89s, but 87s came in around 18 to 20K depending on options and such. I imagine that 89s might have be 1 to 2k more. I have no idea what that would be with inflation and such factored in. I would guess that it would be 25-30K nowadays.

In my opinion it would be a lot more in today market, considering the late MKIV Supra was 40 or 50K new. I would say if the 89 was 08/09 new, it would be about the same, 40 or 50.

My '89 was $23,600 new.
By contrast, my 1990 Mercedes Benz 300CE was $57,300 new.
