Default Manually adjusting the Boost?

Where is the auctuator, thats what I think its called dont mind the spelling either... Or is there not one located on these turbos? Right now all I am putting out is a measly 4 PSI, which is nothing... Im looking to go up to at least 8 which is what I think they came stock boosting. And eventually I want to take it to 10-14. Now is it safe on stock internals on the engine and turbo to go that high? I personally dont see why not, considering the SRT-4's and WRX's from factory are about 14 Psi.

yes they do have one (BOV) and you will hit fuel cut around 10 psi... you should upgrade to a KVM (MAF) and 550cc high impedence fuel injectors. You could use RX-7 88-92 turbo (series 4 I believe) injector with the maroon tops... That should get you around in the 14 psi range. However you really need to replace your HG to a MHG first to handle the boost or you will blow it by raising the boost now. I would also really recommend at least upgrading the down-pipe. You can gain around 20hp with that.

Good to know, thanks for the advice. I'll check where the BOV is on the CT Turbo. Now for the injectors, are there any sites you know of that have them in stock? Or is this an item that I will need to search for in Junk yards? I hope not the latter, that will be a pain, im sure there are some out there for a decent price. Now with the MAF, I think your talking about the ECU computer correct? Just to map it once I use bigger injectors. Now with replacing the head gasket, what is a MHG? What brand is the most reliable? The exhaust is taken care of, Im putting in a custom made system locally. The only question with the pipe is what size to use? I know breathability is crucial to Turbo'd applications. Im thinking at least 3" to 3.5" what would you say?

Thanks again!

about the injectors i will get you a part number once i get home... a MHG is a metal head gasket. HKS is most widely used although cometic has been used to the same effect and is much cheaper. If you going for big gains like 500+ i would get an HKS stopper type. just make sure you get the block and head lapped or machined nice and smooth. the MAF is mass airflow sensor... you want a Karman Vortex Meter off a 94 lexus sc400. and no you do not need to map the ecu, that would only be done on a standalone ecu... 3.5" for the exhuast would be ok but you wouldnt notice any difference than using 3" on a daily driver so it would kind of be overkill. just have the exhaust shop do 3" from the turbo outlet all the way to the muffler tip.
