i want an easy life
Hi there all supra owners, i need to tap into the knowledge base out there.
Im 58 and these days burning the rubber isnt my thing anymore, this is entirly due to the fact that both of my legs have begun to seeze up, I have a targa top supra mk3 since new bought in 1987 never any probs, and is still rust free but its a left hooker. I have receintly bought for spare a british (hardtop) turbo version (single turb) and it wait for it got all the comforts of home auto with an overdrive and ohhh i know an airco, i like my comforts. now the engin in the turb is in bits why i dunno nowt wrong with it as far as i can see, bearigs, pistons all okay, however, it has had a blown gaskit (normal) and one of the cam bearings looks a bit scorrd can be ground. I want to chuck the engin in mine and the box ie manual to auto, does anyone know if i can move the pedals from the right hooker to the left? and will i need to swap the drive shaft and the rear dif too? appart from that keep on burning, oh i have had the car droped 3 inches some years ago with koinis and factory shorter stiffer springs bigger wheels ( i need new kidneys too), any help would be appreciated. lots of love to you all ian the menace(old fart)

More work than its worth. Sell both and buy a comfortable, trouble free car like I did. I'm 55, beat to hell from motocross and water skiing. Hurt all over, ALL the time. Drugs help some.
Sold my beautiful '89 supra, and bought a mint condition 1990 300CE Mercedes Coupe. It is SOOOO comfortable, yet zips around town and the mtn roads just great.
