Hi !
When I first start cold engine is that normal that engine temperature gauge goes into red sector for a few seconds and then drops into middle part of the scale? Thank you! |

I'm no expert but it sounds as if you have a stiff thermostat that has to get really hot before it opens. Once it opens of course the engine cools down straight away.
I'd try changing that first and see if it does the trick.

Sounds like you are saying when you initially start it, meaning not having time to warm at all? If so i would suspect the gauge/gauge wiring/temp sender.

I have replaced the thermostat with 180* offset and the problem is gone.
Thank you! |
