Default Rebuild time

Well after finding out my bearings are done and that a 1jz swap wouldnt be worth it ive desided to rebuild my 7M-GTE the engine has 171,000KM on it. What will i need for the rebuild it would be really helpful if theres links included. Is there any kits on the web for rebuilding 7M-GTEs

Fortunately you have more Supra parts suppliers in the US than the UK. This Guy is well known on the UK forum for his knowledge and quality parts. Richard of Sip Racing: Location Kent, Ohio, United States. Link and Link

Sorry unable to help you there, my own experience is simply maintaining the Supra in stock running order. Ok I've done 3 head gaskets repairs and a big end replacement over the years on several Supra`s, I do know most Supra`s are over 20 years old and it really depend on the condition of the engine vital components and other factors before increasing the BHP. At a guess you will defiantly need forged pistons (not cast) and a metal head gasket with ARP studs. As I said I'm no expert put I think the stock pistons are forged, not sure what BHP they can handle.

Why have u done the head gasket repair so much i though at soon as a MHG was installed and Torqued down with ARP studs the problem was fixed and wouldn't happen again. I'm pretty sure the pistons on a stock 7M-GTE are forged.
