Default Smoke coming from sides of car when sitting.

Hey all, Just recently did a valve seal and gasket job to fix the blue smoke escaping from my exhaust in the morning, but another problem still exists.

Sometimes when I am idleing at a light I will notice smoke out of the bottom of the car and sometimes out of the exhaust. It is not constant and doesn't look white. By the way, when I put my car in park it idles at about 1500 rpms. Is it my ECU? or a Manifold problem?

Thanks,

~Jet

Does anything else leak? When my power steering line leaked it would spill some smoke out from the exhaust side.

As for the 1500rpm idol, it may be from a defective water temp sensor. There are two temp sensors, one for the gauge cluster, and one for the ECU warm up cycle. I'm not saying go out there an start throwing parts at it until something fixes it but just consider that.

Good luck.

Antifreeze tends to leak. Might that be it? Oh and I recently had my water pump replaced, could something with that cause the high idleing?

I recently fixed a leak from the bottom of my dipstick tube. The o-ring at the bottom. It would leak a little at idle and also a lot during heavy boost.
