Heater Question 87 Supra
I purchased this 87 this fall and replaced head gasket, thermostat, etc. I can't get heat in car,it blows cold air. The hoses going into heater core at firewall are getting pretty warm but I don't know if its the heater control valve ( $ 175.00) or climate control in car or maybe the heater core. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Get your self a 5/8" 90deg elbow and bypass the heater valve. If it has heat after that then you know the valve is bad. If you still do not have heat then your heater core may be bad, or clogged.
Good luck. |

You might also check the vacuum hose on the heater valve.
