Noob- Starting problems 92 supra

I have a 1992 toyota supra targo 7m-gte turbo, everytime i start it the car will crank over and then backfire??? any idea whats wrong

Sounds like the timing is a little off. Check the CPS via the TSRM: MK3 TSRM On-Line
