Advice On Body Work

I recently had to put a new front end ( hood, left fender, front bumper, and spoiler or valance) on my 87 supra. These parts are used but seem to be good. The front appears to fit good but I can not get the damn hood to fit right. It wants to sit to drivers side no matter how we seem to adjust it. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated. Thanks for any replys!

My hood does about the same thing. I would just still try to keep adjusting it.

Take everything off.

The problem is more likely that you fitted your front fenders to match your doors, and if the doors are wrong, then the fenders are wrong, and, then the hood will never fit right. I'd suggest aligning the doors (Remove the striker to make sure that the door isn't just jumping into the correct alignment.) to your rear quarters, then the fenders (Check where they bolt onto the vehicle to see if there is anything bent on the vehicle) to the doors, then valence, then hood.

You could also have some possible frame damage, and that could be causing problems.

I assume you check to see if the hood hinges have any damage (the only thing I can think of is if they are bent.)
