Headlights not working
Well the title says it all......
Yesterday night around 9pm the car made a light show in and outside the car, all lights that were on at that time went off and on and off and on also in the dash and this kept going on untill i switched off the lights completely and drove without the lights on untill i stopped at a gas station, i checked the fuses but nothing wrong, i turned them on again and the light show was gone. but the headlights never turned on again but the rest were ok, relay was changed and new fuses and bulbs were put in today but still the headlights are not working, im going check if it is getting any current or what not. but real strange that they just stopped working like that, maybe the wiring idk...... Check your alternator. If you have a Voltmeter or DVOM first check your battery it should be at 12.60 or something around the just to check your battery first. Then start your car and put the leads back on both terminals again and the reading should be 14 volts or even a little above. If it is low like 12-13 volts the alternator might be going. 12 definitely you would need an alternator. Or you could bring it in to autozone. I had a problem like this in a different car, it was a civic and I ran these test and even brought it to autozone to check it off the car and it was faulty alternator. I went ahaead and got a remanuafactored one and it ran fine. I hope this helps.
