Default Interesting power loss problem!

Ok guys, I am new to this forum also to MKIII Supra. I bought this car last week for $70. One owner with 103K miles. Its been sitting for years so It took a while but finally started. Problem is, It doent wanna Idle and when I play with the throttle cable there is no response from the engine. wont rev up pass 1000RPM. I messed around with the timing and retarted the engine and it started revving up to 2000 RPM. Do you guys have any ideas what could be the problem? I checked for the vacuum leaks and there is no leaks. Fuel pressure seems fine. I get very less engine response.

Or is there a way to check the diagnostic trouble codes without having a scanner? some manufacturers usually shorts some connections and the check engine light blinks so many times and those blinks refer to a code- do supras have a system like that? like I said I am new to Toyotas and I will really appreciate your ideas or advises.
