The security system will prevent the starter from working until the system is reset. To reset the system, lock and unlock the driver's and passenger side doors with the key. One door is usually OK, but I've had problems with my driver's side not turning off the alarm, and having to use the passenger side lock to reset it.
If the problem persists, you can by-pass the security system here: http://www.toyota-supra.info/forums/...rm-system.html |

You alarm automatically cut off the ignation. you can deactivete your alarm by enteering your car through the passander door.
"Close all the door and open the car through the passanger's door" it will deactivate your vechile alarm. |

Unlock your car from the passanger side door and that will deactivate the alarm. The Alarm control is at the passanger side door/

It's actually at both doors, the reason people suggest the passenger side is because the sensor there is less likely to be bad. The passenger door isn't usually unlocked with the key as often as the driver's side

lawl! that wasnt even that good of a deal. I mean don't get me wrong, but I found them cheaper. The guy wasn't interested in a group buy tho. Think she had them for 90 and I found acouple for 70. guy wouldn't come down tho for 10 or more.
