Air Intake Hose
Ok so I have the 87 Supra N/A with a 5 spd. My intake hose (stock) is shot up where it meets the manifold. The thing is being held on by duct tape to keep it seeled and I need to find a new one but I cant find them anywhere! I would just put an aftermarket accordian on the but I need that stupid bubble part of my stock intake for the car to run..... If you guys know where to get ahold of one of these it would be much appreciated!

The part is: Number 1 Air Cleaner Hose; 17881-42030, Toyota price of apprx $94, toyotapart.com price is apprx $56.
The only thing you need from the stock intake is the MAF sensor... as long as thats on there your car will run, I recently put aftermarket intake on which just consisted of aluminum piping from throttlebody to MAF sensor then onto filter.. And it ran me apprx $75 cause I bought a kit for lazy people, can probably make it cheaper Last edited by dannydavi; 02-01-2009 at 10:11 PM. |
