Very impressive. I like how you've done the interior so far. Is that shifter a tad high though? (just thinking about where mine sits.)

I'm from the era that dropped 350's into Vegas.. and watched the windshields pop out from the torque : )

Personally.. I wouldnt go this way with the Supra.. but you've done a great job sofar! Looking forward to a vid of that beast on the road.

Thanks man! Never had a Vega, almost had a Monza though. Still kick myself for not buying it. $500 for a decent Monza Spyder would of been worth it. Guy sold it before I could get back with the cash. Won't be long now before it's drivable. Need to get the driveshaft measured and done, a new windshield, exhaust sidepipes put on and a front left tire. Everything else is done for the most part.

The Mega shifter does sit up there compared to where the stock stick shifter was. It doesn't feel uncomfortable though. The steering wheel feels much better than the stocker.

My brother had a Monza Spyder.. melted on him.. : )
The wiring caught fire while he was burnin up the highway.. and apparently the car is mostly plastic.. lol. Wasn't much left of it.

It was a fun car, but he said he would never touch one again. He had nothing but trouble. Kinda like the old AMC's that would fall apart on the interior.. unless you went in there weekly and tightened it up.

LMFAO! No kidding. Had a 1978(?) POS AMC Matador wagon. Big ol' hoopty and ugly as sin. Would send my friends and I for a ride when I'd rock it with gas 'n brake. The whole seat would rock!

It RUNS AND DRIVES! YAAA HOOOEY! Man does this thing have some low down torque. 1st gear is way to low though. I'll be switching out the 4.33 open diff for a 3.73 LSD unit soon. Still need the front glass and the exhaust. The driveshaft was only $129, not bad at all. Here are a few more pics of the engine bay.

Oh I can't WAIT tell I pull up next to another MKIII or MKIV! They'd better have some serious modifications for it to even be a race. I raced a modified '87 Grand National (Turbo 3.8 liter) when I had this motor in my Corvette. Spanked him pretty bad.

Thumbs up Well I will give credit for creativity

Man as much as I hate people putting V8s in supras I must say looks like you did a good job. Ive always been a big fan of straight 6s cause there light powerful as hell and they look amazing in the engine bay. When people hear I have a straight 6 under the hood there freak out because in California most people drive piece of shit mustang 5.0s and crappy ass civics. As far as the V8 vortect ive never seen one but I have a feeling even with all the power its gonna be too heavy unless you carbon fiber most of the car and do weight redux.
