I wouldv'e gone for a better neon color myself. Like red, green or blue. I have a set of green ones cuz I got them for my green integra, but it got stolen, so I got a red 87 supra. I wasn't going to just throw the neons way, so I put them on the car and I think they look sweet.

So why shouldn't neon be put on a Supra.. I've got a black MKIII supra with blue neon all around the outside over the floor boards, a laser on the interior side of the roof, and cathodes in the door panels.. All my friends say it looks awsome.... And it does.
