i have a 90 mk3 n/a. i am in the process of upgrading the intake but i can't seem to find a hard pipe intake for my car. i think that a civic intake will work but i'm not sure. also do we have to keep that plastic resonator thing in the middle if the accordion tubing? any help is greatly appreciated.

you don't have to keep that resonator (actually it's a muffler to limit the intake wooshing sound). I've seen people go to muffler shops and get tubing bent for their own custom intakes, and it's usually not too bad...
Civic intake might work, make sure it's big enough, and see if it fits. I doubt it would hurt anything (my bro has a civic intake on his 86 T/A  , but it's better than stock) |

hey steve, check your local listings to see who sells vibrant or matrix parts. they have bent pipes for you to make your own intake.
