Noobie question
 

I'm looking at this supra on craigslist. The engine has 177k on it and the guy says it just got some valve knocking. What would be the cause of that and how should i go about fixing it?

Oh yeah look at the odometer. It looks off to me what do you guys think?

I wouldn't go more than $1k and that's IF it is in mint condition. You're looking at a lot of work if you do purchase it. Valve job.....more likely a complete rebuild or a different motor.
