Silicone hose in EGR lines?
Just purchased hose techniques silicone vacuum hose kit. Any compatibility problem using silicone hose to replace hoses in EGR system? For example those stubby hoses from cam covers up to air inlet tube?
Also, the larger diameter (approx 3/4 inch ID) EGR hose that leads off of the front of driver's side cam cover down to somewhere is split and needs replacing. Can I use heater hose? |
