Purchasing advice
Hello all. I am going to purchase a complete set of exterior trim and a windshield cowl of someone. they want me to make my offer. I dont really know what is reasonable to offer though. I tried searching for other ones for sale but couldnt find anything. anyone have any suggestions of how much i should offer for both? he says they are in mint condition

im pretty sure the trim is worth an arm and a leg. I shaved all the seams in my car because i bought it without the trim, but i think there is also special clips that you need if they arent already on the trim. im not 100% sure tho, but someone will chime in with the proper answers for ya.

'Fraid I won't be much help on that, as I have zero experience in what the body trim is worth.

Did some quick checking for you. The body mouldings/trim are about $40 per piece new. The cowl, new from a dealer, is about $190. Don't know what to suggest you offer the seller for used pieces, but new you're looking at about $600.
Check on Ebay and see what the various pieces of trim are going for there before making an offer. Just a suggestion. |

No prob. I've learned a lot from this and some other Supra boards, and I try to help out when I can and when it's something I have some knowledge of.
