Question Mkiii

I have a 89 white turbo supra and I wanted to upgrade my manifold and the cam gears..What would be the best aftermarket products and the best price on these two?

cam gears? do you have aftermarket cams? What manifold do you want to upgrade. You have two of them, both of which will require changing a lot more than just a manifold.

I am rebuilding my engine and I wanted to know what would be best for my upgrade? I already bought the rebuild kit just wanted to get more hp for my engine and rear wheels.

cam gears won't help. Don't waste your money on them.

can I ask you why it's not worth spending my money on the cam gears?

I know for one, that Cam gears need to be timed, so you have to get all the tuning done, which takes time and a garage to do it.

ohh ic because I have someone working on to rebuild my engine right now and I am trying to at least up grade most of the parts so that I don't have to deal with it afterward. I bought the kit to rebuild my engine at this time.

Adjusting the stock cams with stock fuel, stock turbo may get you slightly better spool, but is not worth the extra money and dyno time to dial them in. You'll probably spend a couple hours trying different settings only to leave them straight up. You should be upgrading the intercooler, piping, fuel system, exhaust and maybe an upgraded turbo. Please don't buy them unless you're over making over 500hp with aftermarket cams.

If you really have to have them I'll sell you a set I have from AEM (Blue) for $175 shipped. They're 150 ea new iirc.
