Default Exterior moulding Strip out?

Has anyone ever just taken all the exterior moulding off and filled it in with some body filler?
I am missing some 2 pieces and some other ones are starting to come off. i tried looking for them but appearently they are hard to find and are expensive when you do find them.

Also would this reduce weight and up my HP?

i usually check ebay fpr stuff like that and there are a few people that have trim for mk3 supras. but like you said they are quite expensive. just about everything for these cars are expensive. its around 130 bucks for a set.

i did. it looks good, BUT im not perfect at bodywork so you can notice a bit of a wave on certain angles. i didnt have a choice tho cause when i bought my supra the guy before me was halfway done a body job and i had to redo it cause he was worse than i am! lol i dunno how to post pics on here but i can email em to ya if you wanna see. i shaved all the trims and bumper seams. looks pretty cool

Looks great man. Do you think it is possible for me to do it without deleting the side markers? and do you think i should fill it the rear pieces too? Like what made you decide to keep the back two pieces
