Have you checked the EFI fuse? Is the fuel pump getting power?

Fuel pump does NOT turn on when the key is just in the on position. It only starts pumping once the engine starts turning over.

It sounds alot like a timing issue... you said that the timing is spot on. Are you 100% positive that the cps was placed on the compression stroke and not on the exhaust stroke?

Default cps

check te cps...cam position sensor...take off the 3 screws on the side with the engine at Top Dead Center and check to see if the cam is in the right spot...check this out,

You've got to jump a couple of wires to do the ON position test per the TSRM... +B and Fp iirc.

Cool

I know the timing is right ! because I have awesome compression !
But I am a bit confused as to the Cam Position sensor...
How do I know where to set it? Is there any kind of mark on it to lign it up right?

Also, new development ! I have a brand new battery in it and when I go to crank it over, all i hear is a bunch of clicking and then my lights flip up and down, dash lights come on and off and then nothing !

The battery is fully charged but it wont do anything ! when I turn the ignition on the dash light up normal but when I go to crank it, all power dies !
could my starter be blown?

That's right, the fuel pump will have to be bridged in order for it to cycle on when the key is in the on position, I thought you were saying under normal use that it'll turn on without cranking the motor first.

As for the timing... you will still have awesome compression even if you're timing is off. I'm talking about your ignition timing. To me it sounds like your cps is 180 out, and you're firing on the exhaust stroke. Had the exact same thing happen to me with my N/A after putting the distributor in wrong.

Typically when you install the CPS (once you verify you're on the correct stroke) you place it with the set bolt centered on the cps flange. Keep in mind that before you install a CPS you have to align the little gear with the larger gear on the cps shaft before placing in the engine. There is a little stub on the tiny gear on the end of the shaft, align that with the notch on the large alignment gear teeth above it on the shaft. Sorry if that sounds confusing, the tsrm explains it much better with pictures here. After you get the engine running, you set the ignition timing by putting a jumper wire between terminals TE1 and E1, connect a timing light to the No. 6 coil wire, and rotate the cps until the timing is set to 10 degrees btdc. While timing, remove the jumper wire and verify that the timing advances to at least 12 degrees btdc.

Sorry if this seems drawn out, I've just spent the last few days running all over timing issues with my 7MGTE and want to help out as much as I can with the knowledge I acquired.

Default Got the car going again !

Wow ! I had a massive section of my harness melted together !
Looked like Tie Die ! lol
She runs good but for some reason I am not boosting !
I have a Tial external wastegate. It seems like I am not getting the kick I should. Its a brand new Super T4 turbo on a TURBO XS Manifold.
3 inch V band with greddy exhaust system.
Its almost like its not firing on all cylinders... I ordered new coil packs and NOLOGY plug wires...going back to stock ignition with a spark booster and Rev limiter. Maybe that will fix my problem.
You seem to be quite knowledgeable on the Supras !
