there is no "air filter light" you might be talking about the low coolant in the reserve bottle light .
it's on the left of the dash some people call it the "bird cage" light ," museum light" add coolant to the plastic bottle next to the drivers side head light

Ditto. And if this keeps happening make sure you figure out why. I thought I was heading for a blow head gasket....but luckily it turned out that the tube from the radiator to the reservoir was not tight, enough and slowly leaking coolant. It turned out I guess, the clamp was holding it down tight enough.

Also check the coolant lines to the turbo (if you have one). They tend to get hard then turn brittle and then leak underpressure.
